Lindsay M. Ruland The life of Lindsay M. Ruland (age 33) was stolen by Metastatic Breast Cancer on June 11, 2019. She loved music, horses, friends, and most of all, her lovely 4-year old daughter, Alice-- who was her everything. With a heart of unending kindness extended to all, Lindsay worked at University of Maryland Baltimore-Washington Hospital as a histologist to the very end. Three weeks before passing, Lindsay attended the Black-Eyed Susan Day and the Preakness, which were two of her greatest joys. She leaves behind Aloy L. Ruland, Jr. (father), Carol Diggs (mother), Barbara Ruland (stepmother), James Siegel (stepfather), her sweet daughter, Alice, and many loving family members and close friends. An open protestant Service of Joy will be held on June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 9120 Frederick Road, Ellicott City, MD 21042. A Roman Catholic memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on July 13, 2019 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 4708 Prudence St., Baltimore, MD 21226.
