Thomas Vincent Poole, 93, of Clearwater passed away May 3, 2020 at Bon Secours Maria Manor Nursing Home in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born in Antigo, Wisconsin, Thomas also lived in New Mexico, California, and Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Poole, and his brothers Joseph and James Poole. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann Poole; his sister Mary Ann Poole-Andreshak; children Vincent Poole, Hugh Poole, Katie Powell, Joseph Poole, and Molly Poole-Ronan; grandchildren Natalie Milanovic and Jennifer Fermin; Patrick Poole and Kaleigh Rottler; Kelly, MacKenzie and Kaitlyn Powell; Isabelle, Matthew, Sophia and Liam Poole; Grace, Emily and Mary Elizabeth Ronan; great grandchildren Silvija, Vladimir and Gavrilo Milanovic, Davin Stranger and Robert Woodle; Alice and Rowan Rottler. Thomas served in the United States Navy from 1945-46. A graduate of Marquette University (BSEE), Harvard Business School (MBA), and Stetson Law School (JD), he was highly educated, broadly cultured and deeply religious. He shared with his family a love for music and literature, as well as an insatiable desire for beauty, truth, and justice. A funeral was held on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Epiphany of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, and he was laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
