William "Bill" Joseph Kelly Jr

On April 28, 2021, William Joseph Kelly “Bill” died in St. Petersburg, FL. He was 84 years old. Bill was born on March 19, 1937, in Poughkeepsie, New York. He graduated from Black River High School in 1955 join the Navy and served for two years before being honorably discharged. He then went on to enlisted into the Air Force whereby retiring after 20 years. After honorably serving in the military, Bill had a second career as a Plant operator for Northeast High School where he retired after 20 years. Bill married Lotta Kelly in 1958. They met on Clearwater Beach. They loved listening to Country Music, traveling the U.S. camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Bill is survived by his children, Diana Winnicki of Cape Coral, Kathy Waller of Key West, Melissa Chouinard of St. Petersburg. He was also survived by his Grandchildren Melissa Case, Jennifer Waller, Joel Waller, Megan Waller, Matthew Chouinard, Michael Chouinard and his Great Grandchildren Evan Scott, Elisha Waller and Emily Case. He was preceded in death by Lotta Kelly (wife), William Joseph Kelly III “Joey” (son), Michal Boyd Kelly (son) and Scott Allen Kelly (son). A graveside burial ceremony for William Joseph Kelly II, “Bill” is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Sunnyside Cemetery. The family request memorials to Hospice of Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Drive, Largo, FL 33770 .
