Joanne Lembke, 74, of St. Petersburg passed away at home on June 24, 2021. Born November 27, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI, she graduated from Brookfield Central (WI) High School. She was preceded in death by her parents John D. and Mary Swendsen, and her sister Mary Ann Jamel. Joanne is survived by Gerry, her husband of 55 years and her son Chad, his wife Joi and her granddaughter Rayhanna. Joanne lived in South Pasadena and St. Petersburg for the past 43 years. She loved her many pets, gardening, family history, reading, walking, beaches and swimming, traveling, rock ‘n’ roll and her red convertible. Her smile lit up a room. Often her unique view and perspective invited laughter. Her artistic flair was evident, whether it be her hand drawn charcoal sketches of animals, her oil paintings, or in the amazing landscaping masterpieces where she would arrange orchids and other plants, stones, and walkways into a mini-nature park As she wished, no services are planned, but share a smile with her. Contributions may be made to CASA in St. Petersburg.
