Dr. Robert Malone

Dr. Robert V. Malone “Bob”, age 82, of Saint Petersburg, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Bob was born in Ocala, FL on February 08, 1939 and was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, FL, where he played saxophone in the band. Bob was a member of the Coast Guard reserves, attended Jacksonville University and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Bob loved trains, flew planes and was an avid sailor. He started his practice in Mississippi in 1968 and left in 1975 to start a new office, back home in Florida. Bob was always interested in science and technology, automating his office and teaching himself to code in the 1980s. Bob retired from a long and much-loved career as a Chiropractor after practicing for over 50 years. Bob loved all of his family, telling jokes and making people laugh. He will be greatly missed. Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wanda G. Malone; 1 son, R. Scott Malone (Judith A. Mageras); 2 daughters, Vicki D. Malone and Staci M. Gonzalez (Matthew W. Gonzalez); and 1 grandson, Finnegan A. Malone. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. M.L.K. Jr St. N., Saint Petersburg, FL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-3 p.m. Sunday.
