January 2nd, 1943 - September 26th, 2021
John Sanders Ballmer passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was born on January 2, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, to Evelyn Sanders Ballmer and Franklin Jakel Ballmer. He is survived by his sister, Dianne Johnson; his nephews, Paul F. Buhrow (Kathy), Matthew Buhrow, Christopher Johnson (Stephanie), Mark Johnson (Kittiya); nieces, Dianne Buhrow and Sarah Bean; great nephews, Paul F. Buhrow, Jr. (Jen), Lucas Buhrow (Charlotte), Nickolas Bean, Connor Johnson, Kaden Johnson; great niece, Rachel Bean; and recent additions to our family, great-great niece, Josephine Buhrow, great-great nephews, Paul Franklin Buhrow III, and Edison Buhrow. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, Franklin, and his sister, Judith Buhrow. John loved watching old movies and all sports events. He was an artist who was dissatisfied with his own art but avidly collected the work of others. John also loved music, especially opera, and had a vast collection of classical music. He enjoyed doing research on the internet and then educating his sister Dianne during their weekly lunch dates. We will miss his encyclopedic mind, his loving heart, and his sweet, gentle spirit.
