Russell Samuel Davis, 86, of St. Petersburg passed away on August 23rd, 2022 at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park. Born in Salisbury, MD on November 11, 1935, he graduated from the University of Maryland. Russell is survived by his two sons Mark Whitney Davis and Steven Russell Davis. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Taylor Lynn Davis and Alexa Grace Taylor. Russell had a strong passion for horses. He owned a farm in Lexington, Kentucky where he raised and bred horses. Occasionally, he would have some of his horses trained to race. His respect for everyone and his wonderful spirit will be remembered by all that knew him. Russell’s wishes were to have a small family viewing at the funeral home and a burial service on Saturday August 27th at 3:00PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, Florida.
