Mary Ann Martinez, age 68, of St. Petersburg, passed away on April 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Sylvia Garcia and her sister Loyce Tarin. She is survived by her daughter, Caricia Martinez of St. Petersburg. Mary Ann worked in Migrant Education Outreach for our social services community. She previously worked as a Migrant Farm Worker and Public Health Educator. She enjoyed music, gardening and sewing. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 29th, 2024 from 5:30pm-6:30pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street North, St. Petersburg, FL. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the National Kidney Foundation or American Kidney Fund.
