Marcelo "Mac" Estrada

Marcelo Junior Estrada, 74, of Nampa, died at home of natural causes on May 21, 2024. He was born to Marcelo Solis and Fannie B. (Barker) Estrada on May 21, 1950 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Marcelo attended schools throughout the Treasure Valley and finished 11th grade at Boise High School. He went to work to help his parents and siblings. He worked at various places including Simplot in Caldwell, Amalgamated Sugar in Nampa, and various farms in the valley.
He never married but loved his siblings and their families and lived with his brother at the end of his life. He loved working on old cars and enjoyed playing basketball and jogging. He loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and especially the song “Amazing Grace.”
A viewing for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.
