Robert (Bob) Brown passed away February 24th 2016 from chronic heart failure at the age of 72. He was born to William (Bill) Brown and Marilyn Davidson, in Weymouth, Massachusetts. In 1944 they moved to his fathers home town, Indianola, Washington where Bob grew up; graduating from North Kitsap High School. Then after 4 years in the Navy, Bob worked for the phone company (which he called Ma'Bell) until he retired at the age of 58. Bob's 2nd marriage in 1987 to Pattye Bowman gave him a step-son Jason Anderson, daughter-in-law Lisa and grandson Erik and twin sons James and Justin Brown. Bob, Pattye and the boys lived on a 3 acre parcel in Tacoma for over 30 years making a small home flower farm business where Bob was well known and loved by many who called him the flower guy. Bob and his family liked road trips and went as often as they could enjoying the US as much as possible. Bob had many interests such as boats, sailing, photography, and his 1929 Model A named Nellie. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend Skip Easley going to car shows and with his cousins Larry and Bill Brown doing many fishing trips. Bob is survived by his wife Pattye, daughter Cindy and grandson Nick, sons Justin, James and Jason, daughter-in-law Lisa and grandson Erik. He is also survived by 3 siblings Linda Michaelis, Virginia Carter and Chris Gentry and their spouses. Many nephews, nieces, cousins and their kids. Bob was loved and will be missed by all. Memories will keep him with us forever. Memorial services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent on March 10th at 2:00 pm.
