Lois "Kludt" Jean Haynes
January 1st, 1931 - July 13th, 2012
Lois Jean (Kludt) Haynes Lois, 81, passed away July 13, 2012 in Olympia, Washington. She was born January 1, 1931 to Edward W. and Bernice Laverne (Swinehart) Kludt in Ritzville, Washington. She graduated from Centralia High School in 1949, and earned an AA from Centralia Community College in 1975. She married Gus F. Haynes in 1959 in Santonia, Texas; they divorced in 1962 in Atlanta, Georgia. Lois enlisted in the USAF November 28, 1952, and served in the USNR-R from March 30, 1964 to January 31, 1984. She also was a secretary for the State of Washington, and volunteered at Thurston County Animal Services. Lois enjoyed laughing, doing genealogy, knitting, crocheting, reading, gardening, dancing, and bowling. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Olympia, and the YMCA. Lois is survived by niece, Marcella J. Belles of Littlerock, WA; grand nephew, Nathanael Belles in the US Navy; grand niece, Candace Kludt of Puyallup, WA; brother, William Edward Kludt; and sister-in-law, Joycelyn Kludt. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, William E. and Susan R. Kludt; and nephew, Edward William Kludt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thurston County Animal Services.
