Come To Me My Good and Faithful Servant John McNamara was called to heaven on August 15, 2015, where he joined his parents, John and Marie McNamara, his brothers Thomas and James, and his beloved son Stephen McNamara. John is survived by his proudest and most noteworthy accomplishment-his family. He is survived by his wife and sweetheart of 64 years Eileen Sullivan McNamara; his brother, Timothy McNamara; his daughters, Margaret Baker, Anne Rock, Eileen McKenzie, Mary McNamara; his sons John and Joseph McNamara; his 15 grandchildren, John IV, Clare, Matthew, Mary, John, Michael, Steven, Patrick, Julie, Elizabeth, Michael Oliver, Margaret, Ryan, Tyler, and Daniel and his eight great-grandchildren. He enjoyed his role as the favorite Uncle Jack to his many nephews and nieces especially for those whose parents preceded him in death. John was given the gift of a short illness before he passed away. His family was blessed with the gift of one last visit with "Big Papa/Pops", our father and patriarch. John is much loved by all and will be truly missed by many. A family service will be held at a future date when he is interred with the love of his life in Kankakee, Illinois beside their son. Well Done Faithful Servant.
