Sara was born in Mississippi on October 16th, 1936 and passed away on October 13th, just short of her 78th birthday. She is now rejoicing in heaven with her family that preceded her; husband Bryce “Buzz” Evans, daughter Cherri, and her sweet grand-daughter and namesake, Sarah Alqabandi, who passed just 20 days ahead of her “Granny”. Sara’s family was her world. She will be forever loved and missed by daughter & son-in-law Vickie & Jon Kehn, grandchildren Bryce & Chloe Kehn, daughter Keva Alqabandi & grandson Hoody Alqabandi, grandchildren Michelle & Manzelle Evans, great-grandchildren Cherrie “Rainey” & Noah Evans all of Tacoma, and sister Norris Katherine Schultz of Mississippi. A celebration of Sara’s life will be held on Friday, October 17th at 3:00 p.m. at Hope Community Church – 158 South 46th Street in Tacoma.
