Ken Jacob
January 29th, 1939 - January 18th, 2011
Ken Alan Jacob Ken crossed to the Other Side on January 18, 2011, at his home in Olympia, WA, after fighting cancer. He was 71. Ken was born on January 29 in Tillamook, OR, where he graduated from high school. He attended Oregon State University and later received his Ph.D. from Union Graduate School. He worked as an administrator at the University of Washington and then Evergreen State College where he retired after 23 years. He enjoyed sports. After retirement, he was involved with animal rescue work and gardening at his home in Cameron Gardens. Ken is survived by his wife of 31 years, Diane; and two sons, Christian and Jason Jacob, both of Seattle. He also leaves a brother, Ted Jacob in Tillamook, and many relatives and friends. A celebration of Life service will at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011, at South Sound Manor, 455 North Street SE, Tumwater. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Feline Friends, P.O.
