MSG Albert Curtis Gordon USA RET of Lakewood WA A 27 year veteran of the US Army passed away Sept 15th Al was born May 25th 1933 in Oxford Mississippi. He joined the Army in 1953, and served two terms in Vietnam where he received two bronze stars. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in business and liberal arts from Evergreen State College in 1987 Albert is survived by wife Marianne Gordon, son Albert Gordon JR, and daughters Diana Graves, Patricia Gordon, Sandra Yotz, Brother George McPherson and Sister Marjorie Gordon. Al enjoyed fishing, ranching, watching baseball, but especially spending time with his 4 grand children, Albert C. Gordon III, Ashley Gordon, Nathan Gordon, and Ginger Yotz. Viewing to be held Wednesday, 9/23/09 at 9AM at Lakeview Congregational Church, 4606 108th St SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 with funeral service to follow at 11AM. Committal service to be held at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA 98042 at 1:15PM. He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
