Delaine C. O’Hara (Huwe) passed away peacefully February 15, 2013 in Tacoma, WA. She was born April 26, 1931 in Minnesota, one of 11 children. She moved to Tacoma in 1953, where she soon made a lifelong friend of Mary Colkitt and her family. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Susie) O’Hara, Tim O’Hara (Patty), Kathy Fuller (Melvin) and her grandchildren Tim, Michael, Hillary, Patrick, Sara, Eric and 6 great-grandchildren. Delaine joins her beloved son Mike, brother Bob and great-granddaughter Zoe Faith who preceded her death. Delaine worked hard her whole life providing for her family and was most proud of her career at Legal Aid as the receptionist for over 25 years. During her early years Delaine was a member of PWP, where she danced every weekend with her best friend, Margie Lathrop. She was an avid bingo player, master Scrabble player, and spent hours crocheting and solving crosswords. She loved travelling with her brother Bob and going to family reunions in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Mom will be greatly missed by all. Please join us for a Memorial - Celebration of Lifeat 2-6 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Poodle Dog Restaurant Ballroom, at 1522 54th Ave. East in Fife, WA.
