Eugene "Dale" Allen
August 28th, 1946 - April 27th, 2009
On April 27,2009 we lost a wonderful man and father who was courageously battling cancer, Eugene "Dale" Allen. A man who love his family,friends and life itself. Dale was born and raised in Tacoma where he graduated from Mt.Tahoma High School in 1964. He served in the Army National Guard for two years. Dale work for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 33 years & retired as a Radiological Control Supervisor for code 105. He enjoyed clamming, fishing, camping locally and traveling. He often traveled to a place he describe as, "paradise", enjoying a Tequila and orange juice in Mazatlan, Mexico. Surviving are his children Brent with his wife Tricia Allen; daughter Michelle Crandall and grandsons Randel and Ronnie. Brother Jerry Allen with longtime girlfriend Debbie Burns and Nephews Jeff and Jayson Allen. Sister Carol with husband Bill Staab and nephews Phil and Lonnie Staab. Predeceased by his parents Ray and Myrtle "Babe" Allen The Allen Family would like to thank Franciscan Hospice & St. Joseph Hospital for the great care and kindness they provided. A special thanks to Steve Schumacher, Cynthia Henke and friends at SRC .
