William F. Luebke
December 1st, 1926 - January 8th, 2007
William F. Luebke, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, on January 8, 2007. He was born December 1, 1926 in Graceville, Minnesota to Frank and Verna (Stempke) Luebke, and was raised in Wilmot, South Dakota graduating from high school there in 1944. William entered the Navy and served from 1944-1946. He returned to school and graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Business. Mr. Luebke worked for the State of Minnesota in Rochester and St. Paul. In 1955 he married June Beckman in Minneapolis. In 1959 the couple moved to Lacey where Mr. Luebke went to work for the Dept. of Institution, now known as D.S.H.S., retiring in 1995. He was an active member of the Retired Public Employees Council of Washington. He leaves behind his wife June; daughter, Judith Milligan; son, Jon Luebke and grandchildren Ross, Heather, Holly and Madelyn Milligan. The family would like to thank the staff at Panorama Convalescent Center and Hospice for their kindness. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2007 at the Olympia-Lacey Church of God.
