He often talked about many interesting field trips on the Yakima River and Georgia remembers many a dead bird in the refrigerator waiting to be stuffed for a class project. Jeff and his wife, Georgia Lochridge Farman from Buckley met on the night crew packing cucumber chips and making sauerkraut while earning money for college. They married in 1962, had one daughter, Rachelle, and attended the California School of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA. They were avid tournament bridge players. They recently celebrated 50 years of marriage and 50 years of American Contract Bridge League tournaments. Jeff enjoyed family vacations traveling to many interesting places. His favorite activity was snorkeling in tropical locations. Jeff passed away on October 30 after a long battle with cancer. He recently retired after practicing podiatry for 44 years in Tacoma and University Place. His survivors include his wife Georgia of Lakewood; daughter and son-in-law Rachelle and Roger Emigh of Florence, OR; grandsons Paul Emigh of Seattle and Will Emigh of Tucson, AZ; a brother John Farman of SC and sister Betsy Potter of Charlo, MT and several nieces and nephews.
