Terry Maupin
February 9th, 1939 - July 24th, 2007
No Visitation Terry Maupin Terry Maupin, 68, of Olympia, died July 24, 2007. He was born February 9, 1929 to Mearl and Mary Maupin. He graduated from Weatherwax High School in Aberdeen, Washington in 1957. Two years later on June 13, 1959, he married Sue A. Markwell in Aberdeen, Washington. Terry worked for Lamb Grays Harbor, Hoquiam, WA for 25 years and in 1986 the Terry Maupin Family moved to Olympia, where he worked for Crown Cork and Seal until retiring in 2001. Terry enjoyed racing motorcycles; he enjoyed cars and restored street rods for a hobby. He restored a 1948 Mercury, a 1947 Chevrolet Coupe and a 1955 Chevrolet Pickup. Terry also enjoyed NASCAR. He was an active member of King's Car Club & Push Rods of Hoquiam and since 1990, Olympia Street Rods. Terry especially loved talking about cars and helping others. Terry is survived by his wife Sue A. Maupin of Olympia; 1 son Mark W. Maupin and wife Kathleen of Olympia; 2 daughters, Pamela Dier and her husband Dave of Hoquiam, WA and Robyn Charles and husband Al of Pinckney, MI; 3 brothers Will (Karen) Maupin of Bremerton, WA, Dennis Maupin of Jemez Pueblo, NM, and Bruce (Paddi) Maupin of Kirkland, WA; and 6 grandchildren: Jeramie Maupin of Walla Walla, WA, Nicholas, Brady and Sarah Dier of Hoquiam, WA and Nathaniel and Jacob Charles of Pinckney, MI. Terry was preceded in death by his parents Mearl and Mary Maupin. The Maupin Family sends a special thank you to his caregiver, John of Armstrong Home Care Services, Providence Home Health Care Services, and the nurses and doctors at Providence St. Peter Hospital.
