Robert "Bob" A. McBride

None Robert Arnold McBride “Bob’ Robert 80 passed away at his Lacey home with family by his side. Bob had been suffering from congestive heart and renal failure. Born, March 22, 1932 in Evansville, Indiana to Arnold Edwin and June Marie (Denison) McBride. Bob grew up in Belleville, Illinois, moving to Colorado where he attended and graduated from the University of Colorado with his Masters of Public Administration. Bob had worked as a Personnel Manager in State and Federal Government, before his retirement. He married Patricia Rodriquez 1959 in Denver, Colorado. Bob served in the US Navy for 6 ½ years during the Korean War. When he was a younger family man he loved taking his family to the Colorado Rockies for picnics, rock hunting and photography. Photography was his passion for many years. In his retirement years he loved to take care of his yard and the birds and squirrels that inhabited it. He also was an avid crossword puzzler and reader. Bob had a dry sense of humor but also loved his corny jokes. Bob was a kind, sensitive, and smart man. He loved his grandchildren dearly and was very proud of them. Surviving are his wife of fifty four years Patricia of the family home; son, Patrick McBride, Lockeford, CA; 4 daughters, Karen, of Anacortes, WA, Cathy and Jodi both of Kirkland, WA, and Susan of Federal Way, WA; His brother, Richard of half Moon Bay, CA and sister Mary of Littleton, Co; six grandchildren.
