Robert "Bobby" P Middleton

Robert P Middleton, Jr, age 66, of LaBelle, passed away July 2, 2015 in Lehigh Acres. Robert was born in Fort Myers, Florida on November 8, 1948 to Robert Patrick and Thelma O'Bannon Middleton. He served his country in the United States Army from 1969-1971. He married Karren Deese; she survives. Also surviving is his mother, Thelma Orwig, son; R. P. Middleton, sister; Susan Davidson and husband Ed, step-brother; Harry Orwig and wife Betty, sister-in-law; Linda Ruble and her husband Marvin, brother-in-law; W. Ed Deese and his wife Roxie, mother-in-law; Thelma Deese, four grandchildren; Patrick, Laeda, Keyli and Kyler, one nephew Jonathan and two nieces; Jennifer and Bethany, and many cousins and close friends. Robert was the former Commander of the VFW #10100, was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post #130, Moose Lodge # 2398, LaBelle Masonic Lodge # 379. Robert was a loving, caring man who enjoyed sponsoring youth activities in LaBelle for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family Graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 10 a.m. with Pastor Bill Maddox officiating on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Fort Denaud Cemetery.
