Nora Fernandez, age 84, of West Palm Beach, passed away January 16, 2013 in Atlantis. She was born June 5, 1928 in Vertientes, Cuba, to the late Joaquin and the late Emelia (Martinez) Rodriguez. She is survived by her son: Joaquin (Beverly) Fernandez, three granddaughters: Isa Fernandez, Michelle Malizioso, Jessica Ares, two great-grandchildren: Joshua Malizioso, Justin Malizioso, two brothers: Oclides Rodriguez, Orlando Rodriguez, two sisters: Maria Mazquiaran, Nilda Ramirez, nephew Julio Rodriguez, niece Vivian Pieriechi other nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Silvo Francisco Fernandez. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 am at Saint Margaret's Catholic Church, Clewiston with Father Jiobani Batista officiating. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
