November 10th, 1946 - April 14th, 2007
"Gone Fishing" Born in Detroit, MI and living in Tacoma, WA and Rathdrum, ID, went to be with her Lord after a short struggle with cancer. Lonnie was employed as a Development Director for the Spokane Housing Authority. Lonnie is survived by her faithful husband & companion of 17 years, Michael Pierce; her immediate family, her Dad & Mom Vernon & June Pierce; sister, Ashley Pierce; nephew, Mathew Taylor Pierce; step-daughter, Tracey Lynne Pierce; cousin, Matthew Ortisi; fishing pal, Elaine “Ethyl” Church; son, Steven Stockinger; friends, Glate & Linda Harris; numerous friends and co-workers at the Spokane Housing Authority; especially Merrill, Steve, Amanda, Gary, Damon and Kim; all her professional housing development associates, and her new friends Myra Bishop, Barbara Swehosky, and Sean, Lisa Moore of Rathdrum, ID and Lauri "J" of Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Franciscan Hospice, 2901 Bridgeport Way W., University Place, WA 98466 with her families heartfelt thanks and gratitude for making her last days comfortable and knowing that she mattered.
