Romeo Ruiz Recardo, 69, of Tacoma, WA passed away May 7, 2014. He was born August 3, 1944 in Iloilo, Philippines. Romeo was preceded in death by his brother Eduardo, mother Carmelita and father Federico. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Barbara; three beautiful daughters; Ramona (Bill), Ranae, and Serena; seven wonderful grandchildren; brothers Federico (Claire) and Roberto (Linda); sister Elisa (Tom); two stepsons; George and Richard; and extended family and many friends. A private memorial was held May 14th. Romeo will be remembered for his wonderful, beautiful, infectious smile, his outgoing, friendly personality and deep love for his family. He worked on the railroad for many years, followed by driving semi-trucks and then retiring from the postal-service after working 12 years. Romeo was loved by all who knew him. He made so many good friends during his lifetime. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. The family would appreciate it if you would please share your favorite story/fondest memory.
