Ruth Esther O'Brien
March 31st, 1919 - December 10th, 2010
Ruth passed away peacefully in her home in Tacoma. She was born in Everett and grew up in Centralia where she graduated from Centralia High School in 1937. Ruth married Jim O’Brien in 1941 and they were married 38 years until his passing in 1979. Ruth loved working in her yard and took up line dancing when she was 65 and continued until the age of 80. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Jim) Lawless and son, Michael (Rosanne) O’Brien, 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron O’Brien. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Thursday 12/16 @ 10AM with committal to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
