Larry "LD" David Reed

Larry David Reed (LD), 59, A Tacoma resident, passed away of natural causes while at work doing a job that he Loved. He joined the Marines at the age of 16. He served in the Vietnam War, retired, and was honorably discharged. Shortly after wards he started his career with United Pipe. There he acquired a work family which he adored. He worked for United Pipe for over 20 years. In his spare time he enjoyed Baseball, Bowling, Darts, Golfing, and most of all practical jokes. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years Billie Reed and two sons: Christopher Lee Reed and David Lee Reed. LD was a loving grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He will be forever missed. A memorial service will be held at 3pm, Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Lakeview Chapel, 4606 108th St SW, Lakewood, Washington.
