Frances S. Waddle Oehlerich
July 17th, 1921 - August 26th, 2007
No visitation Frances S. Waddle Oehlerich Frances S. Waddle Oehlerich was born on July 17th, 1921 in Olympia, Washington (one of five children) to Clarence and Rachael Peele Waddle. Her mother died when she was 9 years old and her grandmother took over in her mother’s absence. She died on August 26th, 2007 at St. Peter’s Hospital due to aortic aneurism. She worked in retail and retired from J.K. Gill in 1990. Mom was an accomplished seamstress, learning to sew as a young child at her grandmother’s knee. She was still sewing on one of her five sewing machines up until her admittance to the hospital on Friday evening. She enjoyed baking goodies for everyone and if she wasn’t at the sewing machine making gifts for birthdays and Christmas you would find her in her kitchen baking something for someone or making another batch of jellies. She was married to Richard Oehlerich and they later divorced. They had four children together; Stephen (deceased), Judy Hanson (Gary), Janice Monaghan (Butch), Jeffrey Oehlerich (Stacie). Frannie is survived by her brother, Howard Waddle (Trudy); sister, Esther Johnson; three children, Judy, Jan and Jeff; daughter-in-law, Mary Oehlerich and was “Gramma Toot” to all of her grandchildren, Cassie Sandercock (Jim), Brett Hanson (Nena), Scott Hanson (Lori Ann), Wade Hanson, Heidi Hanson, Sean Oehlerich (Dawn). Gramma Toot also leaves her “special great-grandchildren” whom she adored, Ian, Cody and Brady Sandercock, Ethan and Delayne Hanson; step-grandchildren, Tiana and Kamryn McLean and much anticipated grandson to be born on September 4th, 2007; also several nieces and nephews and her dear friend Carol Curnutt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Rachael Waddle; brothers, Dick and his wife Irene and Donnie Waddle; son, Stephen, and infant granddaughter, Cammie twin to Cassie. Mom will be greatly missed by all who met and loved her. She was a fun Mom!! We love you Mom, Gramma Toot, Sister and Friend. Peace be with you
