Daniel Lee Kerr
September 20th, 1941 - November 24th, 2016
Daniel L. Kerr, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2016, surrounded by his family which he believed to be his most cherished gift. He thoroughly enjoyed those precious times spent with his family, whether it was a birthday, holi?day or even a spur-of-the moment connectionhe lived for those mo?ments filled with laughter, joy and love. Dan spent 20 years in the Army and did two tours in Vietnam. He is described by his platoon mates as strong, fair and One of the best Platoon Sergeants they have ever had. After retiring from the Army, Dan moved his family to University Place, Washington, where he resided for the last 36 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Karin; daughters Michelle Miksch (Cory Miksch) and Stephanie Kerr; and, grandsons Tyler and Nikolas Saathoff and Mason Miksch. He also leaves behind a brother, Allen Kerr, and sister, Sandy Hunt. Per the familys wishes, there will be no memorial service. Dad, you will be greatly missed we love you.
