Louis Stanley Rodda

Louis Stanley Rodda was born on July 12th 1932, he lived his life to the fullest for 83 years and died on May 14th 2016 after a difficult battle with cancer. He suffered quietly and didn’t complain. He remained optimistic until the end and was surrounded by his family during his death. Lou especially loved gardening and nature and was a sportsman who enjoyed fishing, boating, and golf. His first job was in a nursery tending and delivering flowers. He also served in the Marine Corp for 6 years both active duty and reserves. Most of his professional life was in sales and various business adventures. He took pride in providing for and caring for his family. He is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His family is honored to have known this great man. He is so very loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Prestwich Rodda, his son, Kirk Rodda (wife Shelly and their four sons), his daughter, Jessica Kuculyn (husband, Nicholas and their son and two daughters), and his two sisters, Charnie Morton and Kathy Hawkins. A viewing will be held for Louis on May 20th at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 12002 Peacock Hill Ave, Gig Harbor, WA 98332. Service will follow at 11:00 am. A Graveside will be held at 1:00 pm at Vaughn Bay Cemetery at 186th Ave KP N, Vaughn, WA
