Edwards Memorial Funeral Homes - University Place
Linda Loretta Rainey
February 15th, 1947 - February 26th, 2015
Linda L. Rainey passed peacefully in her hometown of Puyallup at the age of 68, surrounded by family & friends. Linda was preceded in death by her middle son Timmy, her parents, one brother and five sisters, and countless other loved ones. Born in Alabama in 1947 and passed in Puyallup on February 26. She has temporarily parted company with her husband of 27 years Al, two remaining sons (Steve & Shawn), two daughters (Cindy & Sarina) and her sister (Charlotte). Linda has 16 grandchildren and 15 great grand children. She left behind a legacy of love, strength, courage, and dedication to her family and countless others whom she has helped in so many ways over the years. In life she was more than once called an angel who was sent to help others. On February 26 an angel departed earth. In her book of life the pages are full of many experiences, yet words can never explain or define many of them. It takes sadness to know what happiness is, noise to appreciate silence & absence to value presence. Our wife, mother, sister, & friend is eternally “Gone but never forgotten.” A celebration of life will be held on March 28, 2015. Time and location are pending. Please contact family members for information or revisit this page as this information is updated.
