Nancie Kathleen Dye came in to this world on September 30th, 1959. The beautiful baby girl of Robert Sr. and Joyce Triplett. At the time she was born she had an older brother Robert Jr. and sister Deborah. Thirteen months after Nancie was born her younger brother David was born and several years after that her younger sister Connie was born. Nancie was kind of a tom boy and liked to follow her older brother and sister along with their friends, even when it annoyed them that they had to bring their little sister along. I remember her saying to me that her sister Debbie use to get really mad when Nancie use to beg to go with her and their mom would make Debbie take Nancie, she said its how she learned to walk fast because Debbie use to tell her you better keep up with me! Ha! Ha! Nancie and her younger brother Dave were very close growing up. Nancie and her younger sister Connie use to hang out together growing up and Nancie use to get upset when Connie would steal her clothes. I guess Nancie was born to be a mother because as a teenager she use to always take care of her friends kids and babysit. The use to say Nancie would bring stray kids home like most people brought home stray dogs. At the age of 19 Nancie met her future husband Kevin Dye and by the age of 20 they had their first child, Crystal Triplett, (Named after her grandmother Crystal Joy Triplett, aka Joyce) at the age of 24 Nancie and Kevin had their second child, a boy, Kevin Dye Jr. and at the age of 27 they had their third child Jenna Dye. Kevin always worked hard so that Nancie could stay home and be a home maker and mother which is what she liked best. In the family's spare time they loved to go camping up at Alder lake, (a yearly camping vacation) the family also liked to go for car rides up to the mountains and go huckleberry picking. Holidays were always big, I remember one year the house was so decorated for Christmas people use to drive by it so slow because it was so beautiful. Nancie was a family person and was always a daddy's girl. She also loved spending time with her mom, sister Debbie's children Marcy, Jenelle, Deanna, and Timmy. As well as Connie's children Kacy and Shannon. She didn’t get much time to spend with her brother Bob's daughter Brittany but always tried to keep in touch. Then there was Kevin's Brother, Michael's kids Melissa, Mikey, and Stephany. Kevin's sister Laura’s daughters Alexis, Megan, Trinity, and Haley. Kevin's sister Gina's Daughters Katie and Kristie. Kevin's sister Wendy's children Holly and Christopher. Also Kevin’s brother Eric who has no children as of yet. Although Nancie and Kevin were divorced at the time of her passing they both shared common interest, their grandchildren. Jenna’s son Dakota, Kevin’s Daughter Madison, and Crystal’s Daughters Loris, Mookie, and LeeLee that were the light of their life and could always make them smile. Nancie and Dakota had a very special bond since she helped raise him and Dakota spent every minute he could up at grandmas house watching shows. One day Nancie was singing the theme song to drake and Josh, it was actually pretty hilarious. Nancie LOVED her chocolate milkshakes and actually drank them up until the day before she passed on April 4, 2013. Nancie chose to be cremated and at a later date her ashes will be spread up at alder lake where so many family memories were created.
