Martha "Martie" Van Patten (Stephenson) was born July 2, 1952 in Tacoma, WA and passed away on March 18, 2014. She was preceded in death by parents George and Louise Stephenson and husband Leonard Van Patten. She is survived by sons, Nicholas (Tracy) and Dustin, 3 grandchildren, sisters Linda Harper and Pamela Peters (Philip), special friend Bob Carpmail and grand puppy Mugsy. Martie graduated from Franklin Pierce High school class of "70". She worked at Weyerhaeuser until she retired. A celebration of life will be held on April 13th 2014, 3pm to 7pm at the VFW In the Canteen, 4741 N Baltimore ST., Tacoma WA. Martie will be missed by her friends and family. She was a sweet girl. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
