Edwards Memorial Funeral Homes - University Place
Lesley Myrle Tremain
November 24th, 1953 - September 6th, 2014
"When it rains look for rainbows, When it's Dark look for stars" Surrounded by her loving daughters on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the age of 60, Lesley Tremain went to Heaven to join her sisters Kathryn Eleanor, and Deborah Rose in eternal life. Lesley is the loving mother of Deborah Alana, and Adrean Marie. Daughter of Lloyd Carothers and Sister of Mary Thoen. Lesley is also survived by her best friend Leasa Jacobsen and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Lesley was born, and grew up in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, where she attended Queen Anne high school. She grew up loving horses, Seattle, warm weather, and sunshine. She married Al (Stewart) Tremain and had 2 daughters, who truly were the lights of her life. They later divorced and Lesley worked hard to be a successful single mother. In 1999 Lesley got a job at the Bethel School District, as a custodian, where she worked up until her passing. In recent months she became the Head Custodian of Frontier Middle School in Graham, WA. She adored her new position and really liked being "the boss." For those who knew Lesley, you know she was a natural at that. Her sarcastic humor and blunt honestly made her who she is. Lesley was always quick to let you know how she really feels; if she had an opinion she shared it! Lesley loved to spend her time traveling, she loved taking her beloved Chihuahua, PD, to Seaside, or camping east of the mountains. She loved the excitement and heat of Las Vegas, and fell in love with Mexico from her very first visit. Her favorite holiday was Mothers day, and her favorite flowers were Peonies. Lesley was so deeply loved, and will be terribly missed by all who knew her. A loving memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 2pm at Edwards Memorial located at 11020 South Tacoma Way, Lakewood, WA 98499. Any flowers may be sent to Edwards Memorial Center at 3005 Bridgeport Way W. University Place, WA 98466. Everyone is welcome to attend, and we would like to request you to wear some color to the service! Lesley liked bright colors, and it would be a great honor to her to brighten up to celebrate her life! Also there will be an opportunity to speak, so please bring your favorite Lesley story with you! We all want to hear them!
