Claudia Gail Parker

Claudia “Mickey” Parker was born in Tacoma on March 31, 1935, the daughter of Claude and Rebecca Cochran. Her father Claude passed away shortly before Mickey was born. Mickey passed away peacefully from lung cancer on November 14, 2016 at the age of 81. Mickey graduated from Stadium HS in 1953 and worked at Pacific Northwest Bell, which became US West, where she retired after 30 years. She married Darrel Parker at Grace Lutheran Church on November 18, 1972. Mickey enjoyed spending winters in Hemet, CA with Darrel and going to the casino with her friends and family. Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Parker just three weeks earlier, and her sister, Donna Peterson. She is survived by her brothers Richard (Sharen) Evans of Allyn and Denward (Joyce) Evans of Raymond. She is survived by her children Steve Grunert (Renton), Sally Wagner, Sheri Parker and Lori Kraft (Ft. Mohave, AZ). Her grandchildren Michael, Marcus and Christie Hoffmeister, Christian (Denise) Grunert of Mountlake Terrace and Justin (Elizabeth) Kraft of Foster City, CA. Her great grandchildren Logan, Ashton, Scarlett, Lucas, Jacob, and Emma Hoffmeister and Jake Kraft. Memorial service to be held 11 am Friday, November 18, 2016 at Lakeview Chapel, 4606 108th St. SW. Lakewood, WA 98466.
