None Alan Scott Alan 64 a resident of Lacey for 13 years ended his journey on June 29, 2011. He was born on July 26, 1946 in Worthing, England to Patricia and Alan Scott. Alan was educated in England earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The London School of Economics; Bachelor of Arts degree music from the Kneller Hall School of Music. Alan served for ten years with the foreign office attached to the United Nations worldwide. Alan held many leadership positions throughout the food and beverage industry, having been Food & Beverage Director at the Lakeway Inn & Conference Center, Panorama City and the Engine House #9 /Powerhouse Restaurant. Alan developed a medieval themed “theater- in- the- round” restaurant where he wrote, produced and acted in many musical comedies. He was proud of his service to the food industry and expressed his gratitude for being fortunate enough to contribute to the food industry. Alan is survived by his loving family including his wife, Monica, daughter, Patricia, sons Alan Scott, Jr., Darryl and Ryan Reed and his brothers David and John, sister Deborah. And 5 Grandchildren, many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Linda, and parents Patricia and Alan. Alan we want to thank you and acknowledge the roles you have played in each of our lives. You have been a kind and loving husband, father brother grandfather, uncle and friend to many of us. We truly are going to miss your laughter, sense of humor, wittiness, warm hugs and just the being of you. Family suggests memorial donations may be made to the family.
