Dorothy Carolina Thorington
October 18th, 1930 - December 1st, 2015
Dorothy Carolina Thorington was born October 18, 1930 in Golden Valley, North Dakota, to Jacob and Lydia (Froeschle) Aipperspach. She was our angel here on earth and received her wings in heaven on December 1, 2015. She leaves a large heartbroken family to carry on her legacy of love for family. Survived by brother Henry Aipperspach (Mildred); daughters, Veronica Owens, Karen Pigott (Keith), and Robin Smith; grandchildren, Erin Smith, Carly Geier (Jeremy), Ricky Owens, and Sierra Paige; great grandchildren, Raymond, Jaret, Collin, Haydon, Carson, Hadley, and Owen. We will miss her forever but take comfort in knowing that she is a child of God and is now resting eternally with our Lord. At her request there will be no services. Donations can be made in her name to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 101 East 38th Street, Tacoma Washington 98404. A Fallen Limb A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we're together again."
