Gordon Doane Fay

Gordon Doane Fay passed away on Tuesday, May 1st at his home in Fife where he resided with his best friend Puggers, the cat. He was born in Breckenridge, MN on February 24, 1942 to Doane and Eleanor Fay. When Gordon was a baby the family moved to the Northwest with brothers David, Charles and Larry and sister Ramona; first to the Portland area where sister Linda (McGowan) was born when Gordon was 4 years old, then Tacoma where sister Robin (Zahnow) was born when Gordon was 11. The family lived, worked and attended school in Tacoma. Gordon married Shirley Fay and they had a son, Anthony who now has 3 children of his own, daughter Tayler and sons Branden and Michael. Gordon worked at many trades; drywall finishing, barber, dry cleaning and he also did volunteer work at St Joseph Hospital. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of life at the Tacoma Yacht Club on Sunday, June 10th from 2:00-4:00PM.
