Dora "Ethelene" Harris, age 88, of LaBelle, passed away May 13, 2018 in LaBelle. She was born May 25, 1929 in Port Salerno, FL, to the late James Archie Whidden and the late Leona (Blackman) Messor. She is survived by her two daughters: Lucretia Strickland (James) and Iris Lynn Wooten, grandchildren: Chad Perkins, Ed Harris, Shelley Wooten and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Harris, her son, Edwin "Birdie" Harris and granddaughter, Amanda Daniels. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at Church of God-LaBelle. Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to service at Church of God-LaBelle. Interment will be in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
