Janice was born November 1, 1957 in Monroe, LA to John and Kattie (Oatis) Smith . She passed away June 12, 2016 in Lakewood, WA surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Shekira Smith; grandson Alvin Smith; sister, Frankie Davis; two brothers, Tony Smith, John Smith; great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends. Services will be held on July 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Miles Memorial, 1601 S. L St., Tacoma, WA 98405. There will be a reception following the service.
