Clarence "Bud" Leroy Lofing
March 29th, 1933 - February 24th, 2009
Born 3/29/1933 in Tacoma, WA and passed away 2/24/2009 in Tacoma, WA. Bud spent several years serving in the US Navy as an officer. He then went into teaching junior high and high school students in the Tacoma area where he retired after 20 years. His next endeavor involved traveling the world acquiring unique gem stones for his wholesale gem business Budsol. Bud is survived by his 2 daughters, Mona Judy, Karin (Todd) Shadow; 3 grandchildren, Dusty Silva, Brittaney Judy, Dawn Judy; and brother, Mike Lofing. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Solveig in January 2009 and his oldest daughter Britta Silva in 2007. Memorial service to be held 3PM Friday, 3/6 at Lakeview Chapel, 4606 108th St. SW, Lakewood, WA. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008.
