Janie Conn

Janie quietly left this earth to be with her creator in early morning Thursday, March 7th after a short and difficult battle with cancer. Janie was born in Texas but lived most of her adult life in Kitsap County. The last ten years she touched many lives and hearts as a caregiver to senior citizens. She was born with the spirit typical to only true red-heads, full of fire and a light that burned with her passion for life. Janie also loved her family with that same fiery passion. Janie made friends everywhere she went; riding motorcycles set her spirit freeand will be missed by her biker buddies. Janie was preceded in death by her father, Dixon Conn Jr. and a sister Julia Conn Watt. Janie is survived by her devoted and loving husband James Gloster V of Port Orchard; a daughter, Harmony Anderson of Puyallup; Two grandchildren, Aurie Wagner and Tobias-Mase Anderson; Her mother, Mary Lou (Hudson) Powell of Texas; Two brothers, Ted J. Conn and Dixon Conn III.No one will miss her more than her grandbabies. 9 year old Aurie wrote, “All who loved her will really miss her truly. Love Aurie Wagner. I will always love her even if she is alive or not.”
