Roy Leonard Kuch

Roy L. Kuch passed away peacefully on August 2, 2011, at the age of 70 in Bremerton, WA at the Hospice Care Center of Kitsap County. Roy was born on September 26, 1940, in Spokane, WA. He graduated from North Central High School and attended Washington State University. In 1962, Roy moved to Seattle, WA. He married Lynne Briggs and moved to Bellevue, WA where they lived for 37 years. Roy worked at Boeing as a data processing manager for 38 years. He was involved in Bellevue Ski School for 16 years and was President for five years. Roy was also a member of the Bellevue Yacht Club and Boeing Management Association. In 2000 after he retired, he and his wife moved to Port Orchard, WA. Roy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynne; his sister Claudette (Gunderson); and brothers, William and Don; his children Scott and Kristi (Hollyoak); his grandchildren Stephanie Kuch, McKenzie and Carson Hollyoak; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Edna and William Kuch. Roy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will forever be missed. His memorial service will be held August 24th at 2pm at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Bellevue, WA. His family requests that donations be made to Hospice Care Center of Kitsap County or South Kitsap Helpline Foodbank.
