John "Johne" E. Swanson
September 15th, 1970 - August 31st, 2012
John E. “Johne” Swanson, Jr. Johne, 41, “left us way too soon.” He passed away August 31, 2012, in Olympia, Washington. He was born September 15, 1970, to John and Sheila Swanson in Moses Lake, Washington. Johne graduated from Inglemoor High School in Bothell, Washington, in June of 1989. He lived most of his life in Seattle, moving to Adna, Washington, two years ago. Johne loved music, writing, computers and reading. He was an avid athletic supporter. For football, the Green Bay Packers were his favorite (even though he grew up in Seattle) and, of course, the U Dub Huskies. For basketball it was the U Dub Huskies and Sonics of history. For baseball, it was sometimes the Mariners. Johne was also a Star Wars Master and fountain of facts and trivia. He was a member of Chehalis Moose Lodge #1109. Johne is survived by his parents, and sister, Staci J. Swanson. Memorial donations may be made to Operation Night Watch, P.O. Box 21181, Seattle, WA 98111. A memorial service and luncheon will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Chehalis Moose Lodge #1109. A memorial service and celebration of Johne’s life will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at ~Redfeather~ home of Nate and Janya - 33420 NE 143rd Lane, Duvall, WA 98019.
