August 30th, 1928 - October 5th, 2016
Estelle Walker, age 88, of Alva, passed away October 5, 2016. Estelle was born Aug. 30, 1928 in Collier County, Florida to Marson Albert and Lily (Forester) Smith. She was very much devoted member of Alva Church of God for many years. Survivors include three sons: Kim Walker (Carol) of Alva, FL, Freddie Walker of Alva, FL and Rev. Norman Walker (Lorraine) of Alva, FL, and two daughters; Rita Mathis (Billy) of Nahunta, GA and Rebecca Johnson (Donnie) of Alva, FL; brother; Harvey Smith and sister; Reva Mayfield. Around 25 grandchildren and many great grandchildren also survive. Estelle was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by her entire family and her church family. Celebration of Estelle's Life will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at Alva Church of God, Alva with Rev. Andrew Smith officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Alva Cemetery, Alva. Visitation will be Tuesday 1 hour prior to service at Alva Church of God, Alva, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Fort Myers.
