Frederick John Timm

None Frederick John Timm 85 passed away at his home in Olympia on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Frederick was born in Garfield, Washington to Johnny Roy Timm and Dorthea Pearl Wiseman Timm. He grew up and attended schools in Garfield, Washington, graduating from Garfield High School. He had lived in Garfield from 1927 until 2008 when they moved to Olympia to be closer to their daughter. He served with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. On October 5, 1957 in Clarkston, Washington Frederick married Betty June Barnes. She preceded him in death March 19, 2012. The family made their home in Garfield where they raised their Daughters. Frederick had worked as a Wheat/Grain Farmer in Eastern Washington. He had been a member of the Garfield Grange, Garfield Lions Club, and Garfield American Legion and the First Baptist Church of Olympia, He enjoyed reading and cars. His family will remember his good sense of humor and hard work. Surviving are his daughters Kathryn L Timm and Susan E. Timm, Sister Wanda Roper, Agnes Palmer and Donna Kottke, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held in Palouse, Washington sometime in 2013. The family suggests memorial to Animal Services of Thurston County, 3120 Martin Way East Olympia, WA 98506
