December 21st, 1944 - February 15th, 2017
John E. Carey, age 72, of Fort Myers, passed away under the care of Hope Hospice, February 15, 2017 in Lehigh Acres. He was born Dec. 21, 1944 in New York, NY, to the late Edward and the late Ann (Brown) Carey. John served in the Army from 66-68. He was a Teamster in union for many for years He is survived by, Nancy Kuchler family of New Jersey, the Sullivan family of New Jersey and lifelong buddy John Purce of Fort Myers, Florida. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 20th, 2017 from 2 to 3pm at the Akin-Davis Funeral home 13932 Palm beach Blvd in Fort Myers.
