Pauline Mason Tolstad

No visitation Pauline Mason Tolstad passed away on July 30, 2006 in Olympia, Washington. She was born on January 6, 1918 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Maud and L E Mason. She attended Tulsa University and Apostolic College (Tulsa, Oklahoma) where she received degrees in English and Theology. She was an administrator and taught at the Apostolic Bible School before marrying Philip G Tolstad of Billings, Montana. They ministered in Billings before moving to Uruguay, South America as missionaries. They lived and worked as teachers, pastors, and social workers in South America, Oklahoma, New York and Washington; and were requested to help establish a church school in Bulgaria. Her husband, Philip; son, Ted; parents; five sisters and six brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister Luella ; one brother, Harry; son, Philip Jr; one daughter, Lynne; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
