Celia Trevino Herrera

Celia Trevino Herrera, age 86, of Clewiston passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at home in Clewiston. Celia was born December 20, 1924 in Pharr, TX. She is the daughter of the late Ines and the late Francisca (Casas) Trevino. She is survived by her six daughters: Olga (Natividad) Garcia of Clewiston, FL, Corina (Guadalupe) Rodriguez of Clewiston, FL, Melida (Roberto) Lopez of Clewiston, FL, Juana (Sixto) Hernandez of Clewiston, FL, Delia (Gumaro) Martinez of Clewiston, FL, Angelita (Dionicio) Rodriguez of Clewiston, FL and one son: Domingo (Severa) Herrera Jr. of Clewiston, FL; one sister: Maria (Faustino) Morales of Lehigh Acres, FL; twenty three grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Herrera, Sr.. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22 at Saint Margaret's Catholic Church, 208 North Deane Duff, Clewiston, FL with Father Juan Lorenzo officiating. A prayer service will be held 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 E. Sugarland Hwy., Clewiston, FL. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston, FL. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 21 from 5-9 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 E. Sugarland Hwy., Clewiston, FL. .
