Linda Joy Tuffree Linda Joy Tuffree, born in El Paso Texas on March 10 1950, passed away quietly in Olympia, Washington on August 12, 2009. She was 59 years old. Linda had been single, (and loving it) for almost 5 years. She leaves behind her lovely daughter, Sharon Nichols of Portland, OR. She also leaves three magnificent grandchildren; Aliyah, Ameerah and Maalik Green, also of Portland. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert Wayne. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the home health industry for nearly 20 years. Linda enjoyed spending time with her grand children; riding her Harley Davidson motorcycles; spending time at the ocean; and working in her garden. She also loved the great company of her Cockatoo Goofy. He gave her many, many hours of entertainment and delight Linda will be remembered most for her brilliant smile, her compassionate, loving heart, and the glorious, ever-present humor she carried with her and gifted to others to the very end of her life. A memorial service will be held at Linda’s home, 6508 203rd Ave. SW, Centralia, WA 98531 on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 3pm, followed by a potluck reception.
